About the event
The Boulder Musician Changemaker Accelerator (MCA) Workshop is a collaboration with national nonprofit, Music to Life and community partners Roots Music Project and Connected by Music. The Workshop provides hands-on training for Front Range region musicians to create and deliver sustainable, music-driven social change programs. The MCA Workshop takes place on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm at the Roots Music Project (4747 Pearl St., Suite V3A, Boulder, CO 80301). The MCA Workshop will work with up to 15 musician changemakers who have ideas for building positive, music-driven and sustainable community programs. Space is limited. Participating musicians will receive a $100 stipend, complimentary breakfast and lunch, and all MCA Workshop materials. Additionally, artists are invited to participate in follow up technical assistance with local mentors to help formulate grants, partnerships, and troubleshoot program challenges.
